The Commercial Manager (Non-Aviation) is responsible for the management and financial optimization of all non-aeronautical revenue streams. Is directly responsible for the non-aviation business contribution to airport profitability by overseeing retail, duty-free, food and beverage (F&B), car parking, ground transportation, advertising, and airport property/real estate leasing.

Responsibilities
Concession operationalization: Design the optimal commercial layout, tenant mix, and "passenger flow" journey within the terminals to maximize retail penetration and impulse spending.
Tendering & Leasing: Lead the end-to-end Request for Proposals (RFP) and tendering processes to attract high-quality international and local brands for duty-free, F&B, luxury retail, and currency exchanges.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate complex commercial lease structures, including Minimum Guaranteed Payments (MAGs) vs. percentage-of-turnover rent models.
Parking & Ground Transportation
Car Park Monetization: Oversee the commercial strategy for all airport parking assets (Short-term, Long-term, Premium, and Valet).
Yield Management: Implement dynamic pricing models and pre-booking digital systems to optimize parking occupancy and maximize revenue yield per space.
Ground Transport Access: Manage commercial licensing and revenue-share agreements with taxi networks, rideshare companies (e.g., Uber/Careem), private bus operators, and car rental agencies.
Property, Real Estate & Advertising
Property Leasing: Manage the leasing of airport-owned land, warehouses, hangars, and corporate office spaces to airlines, ground handlers, and logistics providers.
Media & Advertising: Oversee the airport’s digital and physical advertising asset inventory, maximizing revenue through third-party media concessions or direct corporate partnerships.
Premium Services: Optimize revenue from airport lounges, fast-track security services, and VIP terminal operations.
Education & Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Management, Business Administration, Retail Management, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
5 – 7 years of experience in commercial property management, shopping mall management, travel retail, or airport commercial operations
Track Record:
Proven success in managing multi-million dollar tenant portfolios, executing high-value retail tenders, and negotiating commercial real estate leases.
Skills & Competencies
Deep understanding of passenger psychology, dwell-time dynamics, and airport-specific retail environments.
Expert knowledge of commercial lease frameworks, revenue-share audits, financial modeling, and dynamic pricing strategies.
Strong negotiation skills
Contractual & Legal Expertise: Strong capability in drafting, reviewing, and enforcing strict commercial concession agreements and KPIs
Vendor Management: Excellent relationship management skills to balance the airport's financial goals with tenant operational realities.
High level English, French and Arabic languages proficiency
