The Airport Capacity Management Coordinator handles the slot facilitation process with airlines, monitors activity drivers and spatial capacity restrictions. Ensures resource planning to guarantee that terminal spaces and airfield assets (in particular runway conditions and stands) scale effectively with passenger, cargo, and aircraft volumes. This role focuses on identifying operational capacity bottlenecks, tracking asset lifecycles to optimize the airport’s long-term sustainability and capital expenditure (CapEx).<\/p>\n
Slot Facilitation<\/p>\n
Slot Facilitation (IATA level 2): Coordination with airlines of schedules to avoid risk of congestion during specific peak hours. Acts as a facilitator who asks airlines to submit schedules and suggests voluntary changes if a bottleneck occurs.<\/p>\n
Bottleneck & Flow Analysis: Continually monitor and map passenger densities and processing limits across vital terminal pinch-points (check-in halls, security checkpoints, and departure gates) against flight peak hours to detect capacity constraints.<\/p>\n
Asset Lifecycle Audits: Conduct periodic engineering condition assessments on airport infrastructure to log performance degradation (runway, stands, terminal, hangars), helping to update the initial 4-year master planning and CapEx model.<\/p>\n
Project Support: Liaise with contractors during major infrastructure modernization projects to monitor technical compliance, project schedules, and physical space readiness.<\/p>\n
Education:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, or an equivalent technical field.<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
3\u20135 years of experience in structural asset planning, utilities optimization, or spatial capacity modeling within large public facilities or airports.<\/p>\n
Track Record:<\/p>\n
Proven experience dealing with master planning data, building metrics, and spatial flow configurations.<\/p>\n
Strong analytical skills<\/p>\n
Experience with construction projects management.<\/p>\n
Capacity Modeling: Ability to interpret master planning data, spatial constraints, and terminal flow mechanics to advise executive teams on structural expansions.<\/p>\n
Contractual Management: capability in drafting technical SLAs, managing complex engineering procurement contracts, and auditing vendor performance.<\/p>\n
